Album Review: Steve Aoki “Wonderland” 1/10/12 (Score 81%)
http://www.steveaoki.com http://www.dimmak.com I adore Steve Aoki. I got the chance to see him live this summer at the Identity Fest and loved his presence. He’s a star-the hippest of the hip. I also am a fan of several of his well-known tracks such as: “Misfits” “Wake Up Call” and “New Noise.” I’m excited to see him finally release a full-length album. Other than a few songs that failed, it’s an interesting album in the genre I like to refer to as pop-techno. His music is so damn likable and catchy, even if it’s a ‘lil heavy on the dubstep. 01. Steve Jobs (feat. Angerr Dimas)-Love the build-up! Bouncy. Video-gameISH. Aoki’s…

Dead Throne Tour 2011:The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, Enter Shikari (Photos & Concert Review)
There is nothing like hardcore metal music to relieve the stresses of the week. I walked into the Royal Oak Music Theatre feeling tired and stressed out, but left feeling fresh and new. The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, and Enter Shikari are on the forefront of the metal scene. Enter Shikari is a British band that mixes electronic music with metal in the most interesting way. Whitechapel is a heavy-hitting death metal group out of Knoxville, TN that are insanely good live. Lastly, The Devil Wears Prada is a revolutionary Christian metealcore band out of nearby Dayton, Ohio. Things got so lively during the performance of TDWP, that security kicked…

Pierce the Veil at St. Andrew’s Hall 12/8/11 (Photos, Setlist & Concert Review)
Vic Fuentes – Vocals Mike Fuentes – Drums Jaime Preciado – Bass Tony Perry – Guitar http://www.piercetheveil.net The Lady Charmers from Pierce the Veil are on the final leg of a long tour that started out in South America, Europe, and finally the United States. They showed no signs of fatigue when they performed for the rowdy crowd at St. Andrew’s. One fun-lovin’ fan even threw her white bra on stage which caused the band to playfully chastise her. One highlight of the night was when Vic Fuentes performed from the middle of the crowd then expertly crowd-surfed back on to the stage. The guys from Pierce the Veil have great chemistry together, and…
