Free Holiday Anniversary Show/Fundraiser for Musician’s Dental Clinic: Local bands celebrate the holidays by giving back
Detroit bands The Hounds Below, Almost Free, The Jet Rodriguez and Electric Lion Soundwave Experiment will take part in Navdo Turns 15 — a celebration of music and community unity presented by Chris Vertigo of Blaring Division. The holiday event takes place Saturday, December 22nd at the Loving Touch (22634 Woodward Ave., Ferndale; 248-546-3644 and will include a fundraiser for the MusicCares Foundation’s dental clinics, which offer free dental services to local musicians.

Slightly Stoopid drew us in when they opened for 311. They played a long set that impressed the laid back and fun-loving Detroit crowd. They are a groovy group of white boy reggae masters with an impressive backup band. Their performance made us want to check out their new album.
