Blink 182, Taking Back Sunday, Four Year Strong, and New Beat Fund @ Mohegan Sun Arena in Conneticut 9/8 (Photos & Review)
By Jacob Giampa I have been listening to Blink 182 for as long as I can remember, and the have played a big part in making me who I am. Finally being able to photograph them was indeed an honor and worth the long drive to Connecticut. Besides playing great music, Blink 182 put on one of the most visually stunning show I have ever seen. Even after being together for 22 years Blink still haven’t lost there sense of humor and are experts at cracking jokes in between songs. Supporting Blink was an up-and-coming band named, New Beat Fund, whose lyrics are catchy and their stage presence, goofily entertaining.…

Vans Warped Tour 2013 @ The Palace Of Auburn Hills (Photos & Review)
By Jacob Giampa It was that time of year again, The Vans Warped Tour or The Best Day Ever! I have been going to this show for five years now and I look forward to it all year. It was at Warped where I was able to meet some of my heroes. Every year I go back I remember why I love live music. This year had an amazing line-up. My favorites were: Billy Talent, Reel Big Fish, Big D And The Kids Table, and Mc Lars (One of the nicest people I have ever met). One artist that is amazing that deserves more fans is ITCH. Formally from The…

Alkaline Trio w Bayside and Off With Their Heads @ Clutch Cargos 5/29 (Photos, Setlist & Review)
By Jacob Giampa Alkaline trio, Bayside and Off With Their Heads sold out Clutch Cargos in downtown Pontiac last week. The old church was packed with devoted fans. Opening the night was the fast-paced Off With Their Heads that really started the show off on the right foot. Up next was Bayside-the rockers from New York got everyone on their feet and moving. Alkaline Trio has been a band for over 17 years now and they have some of the most loyal fans out there. I think I speak for all the people there when I say that they are still awesome and the show was even better! If they…

NSFW! The Bam Margera Experience with CKY in Fuckface Unstoppable @ Harpo’s Detroit 4-26-13 (Photos, Setlist & Review)
By Jacob Giampa Bam Margera came back to Michigan last Friday for the second time in a month with his band Fuckface Unstoppable. This band consists of members from CKY. Before Bam came out, Brandon Novak appeared balls-out naked to sing a drunken cover of Phil Collins “In the air tonight.” Finally Bam came on stage and invited the whole audience to join him. Fuckface Unstoppable did a mixture of covers and originals. The originals were “Bend My Dick” and “That’s Why I Fucked Your Mom.” I expected to see a lot of crazy things at this show, and was not disappointed. Here are a few of them: 1. Alex Flamsteed was making out…

Steve Aoki and Kendrick Lamar with Bad Rabbits 4/13/13 @ Meadow Brook Festival (Photos & Review)
By Jacob Giampa Bad Rabbits started off the chilly evening at a sold out outdoor concert at Meadow Brook Music Festival. They are a R&B band with a very modern sound and catchy songs. They were very interesting to watch as they spastically jumped and danced across the stage. http://www.BADRABBITS.com http://twitter.com/BadRabbits http://youtube.com/badrabbitstv Next up was Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick has had a huge year, and his performance was highly anticipated since his songs just about own the radio these days. But first we had to endure his hype man who ran around the stage shouting “YEAH!” for way too long. (Bitch don’t kill my vibe. HA!) Regardless, everyone loved Kendrick! His flow was unique, relaxed and his…
