Passion Pit @ Royal Oak Music Theatre 11/2/12 (Photos, Review & Setlist)
Passion Pit turned the Royal Oak Music Theatre into a colorful dance party last Friday as fans were dancing in all sections of the theatre, even the lobby. Michael Angelakos’ voice was on point as the group smoothly worked through their setlist. Angelakos was responsible for generating the most energy from the crowd because the other band members were stationary. He accomplished this by engaging both sides of the theatre by running about so much that it often seemed like he was in two places at once. Opening Acts Youngblood Hawke and Hollerado were received well. Hollerado seemed to improve with each song as they grew more comfortable. Youngblood Hawke was an entertaining crew to watch, especially due to the lead singer’s tight plaid pants and exuberant drum beating.
