Dead Throne Tour 2011:The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, Enter Shikari (Photos & Concert Review)

There is nothing like hardcore metal music to relieve the stresses of the week. I walked into the Royal Oak Music Theatre feeling tired and stressed out, but left feeling fresh and new. The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, and Enter Shikari are on the forefront of the metal scene. Enter Shikari is a British band that mixes electronic music with metal in the most interesting way. Whitechapel is a heavy-hitting death metal group out of Knoxville, TN that are insanely good live. Lastly, The Devil Wears Prada is a revolutionary Christian metealcore band out of nearby Dayton, Ohio. Things got so lively during the performance of TDWP, that security kicked all the photographers out of the pit after only 45 seconds of photographing due to all of the crowd-surfing. We got about 60 seconds to shoot during Whitechapel. All three groups brought a level of mayhem and big beautiful noise that surely the Royal Oak Music Theatre hasn’t seen in ages.
