“We enjoyed great success with our chili cook-off last year and are really taking it to a whole new level this October,” said Molly Reeser, Camp Casey founder and executive director. “Not only have we added great retail and food vendors to the mix, but bringing in Josh Gracin to headline the event makes this the biggest and most exciting fundraiser we’ve ever had.”
“It’s always in honor to do anything that benefits charity,” said Gracin, who is originally from Westland, Michigan. “I’m excited to be taking part in this event that helps Camp Casey.”
Camp Casey Fest kicks off at 11 a.m. on East Nine Mile at Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, Michigan. An official after-party is being hosted by Rosie O’Grady’s in Ferndale starting at 11 p.m. Presenting sponsors of Camp Casey Fest include McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Rosie O’Grady’s and blugray creative.
