I took my own #lionking to see his first movie in

I took my own #lionking to see his first movie in a theater today. He loved it. I haven’t seen a movie in a theater in years and it was so loud and yes I know how old I sound haha! Of course it’s impossible to make it through an animal movie without crying but the 3D set in Africa was beautiful. It feels good to be home resting my neck and back because this ablation and epidural can’t come soon enough. I’m over having a real winter this year. It’s hurting my old bones😹

Hey! We got a #newfish. He is a Tangerine Koi #bet

Hey! We got a #newfish. He is a Tangerine Koi #betafish and we named him Kai. We got the aquarium for free off #buynothing and once he is used to a bigger aquarium we will get a little bit bigger one and use this one as the transition cleaning tank. He is precious. #funfact we saw Kai blowing bubbles and making a “bubble nest” which is something beta’s do when they are happy and looking to mate.

Last Friday we went to a #vday #familydance at @so

Last Friday we went to a #vday #familydance at @soakfamilyymca and had an amazing time! Rune and Lola loved it and Gemma looked a little scared but we are going to a different dance this Friday so hopefully she will relax and dance🩷 they had face painting, snacks and a great DJ. We love @ymcadetroit so much! It has such a warm and friendly vibe that makes it so special!

Wooo I bought these grout pens and redid the grout in our shower and it looks beautiful. I’m proud of myself since I’m not the best #diy kinda girl but maybe this will inspire me. Next project is to reglaze the tub and grout the areas that are too big for a pen. #mrsfixit

Time has been flying by and life has been busy. Ru

Time has been flying by and life has been busy. Rune and Lola learned a song and dance for a possible commercial ,) Gemma learned the dance too because any time a good beat comes on that girl is dancing away❤️ I had my first ablation test to see if it would fix my pain and it did! I felt like Cinderella because the test only takes the pain away for a few hours and then the pain comes back. My second test isn’t scheduled until a month from now ugh but I’m hoping it gets moved up because they have to wait another two weeks until the actual test and that’s a long time to be in pain. I love my water therapy;) my pt therapist is so down to earth and fun to talk to. I’m definitely a water baby because swimming is so relaxing and healing. #momlife

Lola had her first #gymnastics class at @birminghamfamilyymca this morning. Thanks to @ymcadetroit for putting together great youth programs and building a lovely sense of community. Everybody is so friendly and Lola loves the kids club. #feelingthankful #girlmom #mamaandme

We are going to join the @birminghamfamilyymca! I

We are going to join the @birminghamfamilyymca! I just need to do the paperwork. We have been looking for an affordable gymnastics place and they have other great kids programs too. I’m joining for the pool, barre class and they have a lot of extra space to do solo workouts. I also want to join @classpass for the ballet, dance and @specialtyaquatic classes. I’ll just have to take it easy until I can finally get my epidural yay. It’s nice to have so many choices locally❤️

Haha! Today I found a secret gym and I had it to myself for a short moment. The #basketball was calling my name and I went for it. Ya girl still knows how to play🏀🏀⛹️‍♀️ Regardless this neck pain is unrelenting and draining all my energy and making me nauseous. Today I have my aquatic PT yay. I braved my MRI and found out the discs are bulging and the arthritis and stenosis are partying it up. I met with a surgeon and he told me to get an epidural so that’s the plan but the consult isn’t until the end of the month so who knows when the actual shot is. If that doesn’t work then I gotta find somebody to fix me because in my mind, im still 18 and ready to join an #adultballet class and play some sports again.

I’m not done with #christmas2024 just quite yet

I’m not done with #christmas2024 just quite yet and thankfully the #norovirus has gotten bored with us. We had a lovely time with our family, especially grandparents, Aunt Angela, Uncle Ashraf and cousins. I’ve been off of work a long time due to Covid and now my messed up neck so I have to get an MRI in a few days which I’m terrified of so I’ll be choosing the sedation route😳 The next “holiday” hehe is my birthday on groundhogs day so hopefully I’ll be back to my normal self by then. I’m doing water PT which is heavenly. I had forgotten how much I love to swim by myself without any kiddies to watch over. Once my neck is feeling better im going to sign up for #classpass in place of Lifetime Fitness because they offer adult ballet classes, not barre but ballet and a few other dance classes! I can’t wait. I also can’t wait to try #pilates and go to some of the other local gyms in the area like boxing gyms. I’ve been on a mission to revert back to my jock days so that’s the goal for 2025 but first here are the last of the #xmaspics❤️❤️

Hey! We got a #newfish. He is a Tangerine Koi #betafish and we named him Kai.
