We are going to join the @birminghamfamilyymca! I We are going to join the @birminghamfamilyymca! I just need to do the paperwork. We have been looking for an affordable gymnastics place and they have other great kids programs too. I’m joining for the pool, barre class and they have a lot of extra space to do solo workouts. I also want to join @classpass for the ballet, dance and @specialtyaquatic classes. I’ll just have to take it easy until I can finally get my epidural yay. It’s nice to have so many choices locally❤️
Haha! Today I found a secret gym and I had it to m Haha! Today I found a secret gym and I had it to myself for a short moment. The #basketball was calling my name and I went for it. Ya girl still knows how to play🏀🏀⛹️‍♀️ Regardless this neck pain is unrelenting and draining all my energy and making me nauseous. Today I have my aquatic PT yay. I braved my MRI and found out the discs are bulging and the arthritis and stenosis are partying it up. I met with a surgeon and he told me to get an epidural so that’s the plan but the consult isn’t until the end of the month so who knows when the actual shot is. If that doesn’t work then I gotta find somebody to fix me because in my mind, im still 18 and ready to join an #adultballet class and play some sports again.

I’m not done with #christmas2024 just quite yet I’m not done with #christmas2024 just quite yet and thankfully the #norovirus has gotten bored with us. We had a lovely time with our family, especially grandparents, Aunt Angela, Uncle Ashraf and cousins. I’ve been off of work a long time due to Covid and now my messed up neck so I have to get an MRI in a few days which I’m terrified of so I’ll be choosing the sedation route😳 The next “holiday” hehe is my birthday on groundhogs day so hopefully I’ll be back to my normal self by then. I’m doing water PT which is heavenly. I had forgotten how much I love to swim by myself without any kiddies to watch over. Once my neck is feeling better im going to sign up for #classpass in place of Lifetime Fitness because they offer adult ballet classes, not barre but ballet and a few other dance classes! I can’t wait. I also can’t wait to try #pilates and go to some of the other local gyms in the area like boxing gyms. I’ve been on a mission to revert back to my jock days so that’s the goal for 2025 but first here are the last of the #xmaspics❤️❤️

In soccer, Rune had been known to goof around with his buddies but in dance he was focused and even helped to keep Lola in line. Thanks @tinamariedancestudio and his wonderful teacher. We appreciate you.

I wanted to pull up some cute team pics of my #soc I wanted to pull up some cute team pics of my #soccerteams from this year to cheer me up. I’ve been struggling w feeling better since having COVID early October and I’m still having bad days. Those that know me in real life know I’ve struggled w fatigue that comes and goes w new apparent rhyme or reason and I can go six months and be fine and then it will come back and leave again. Triggers can be heat or doing too much. I’m trying to get better so I can go back to work at the end of the month so days like today where I feel super weak are rough. I’ve had issues way before Covid but #Covid certainly didn’t help. I only share this for the ppl that claim covid isn’t serious and for those and also struggle with auto-immune issues or similar chronic conditions diagnosed or in the process. Anyways, back to soccer. I missed part of the season due to being sick and it was nice how members of the community chipped in to help coach our little ones. Fatigue issues can be limiting because it’s hard to commit to the things you love but I’m learning to ask for help and enjoy the benefits of community and teamwork. #clawson
