The Black Belles could be seen throughout the day checking out different performances at MI Fest. Meanwhile many festival attendees had the Black Belles slated as one of the top new groups that they wanted to see at the festival. Jack White discovered the group and is helping them to make their presence known with the release of an album in November. Smart move Jack! The girls impressed the crowd with their modern blend of grunge and soul. Photographing them was a blast with their striking good looks and strong stage presence.
