Last minute we signed Rune up to play #kidssoccer Last minute we signed Rune up to play #kidssoccer and today was his first game. He did really well at dribbling and kicking but got overwhelmed by all the kids getting close to him and trying to kick the ball. Tears were shed and hand balls were a plenty. I’m not even sure if his team won or not but it was adorable yet hilarious to watch these little guys. Shout out to lil miss Natalie who scored the most goals and ran circles around the boys. Will Rune give soccer another try? Stay tuned for next week when the Clawson Puppies play again xoxo.#clawsonmichigan #clawsonsoccer Also, thanks to both sets of grandparents for attending! When she is done eating, we have to be fast or else she throws her food on the floor. She karate chops her brother. She already knows how to punch without being taught. Gemma is settling in at home and we are taking tim Gemma is settling in at home and we are taking time to rest and relax after family visited. We are getting Rune ready to start kindergarten which sounds crazy. My maternity leave winds down in September so I want to enjoy the time I have left and plan some fun activities. Everything revolves around breastfeeding/pumping which is actually going really well. It took my body having 3 kids to figure it out. 🤷🏼‍♀️ yay me! #newbaby
Yahoo Baby Gemma is home!! She still has a feeding Yahoo Baby Gemma is home!! She still has a feeding tube in but that’s ok! She stayed up the first half of the night adjusting to her new home so I’m very tired but happy. Lola adores her and Rune is being very nurturing because he wants to be a good big brother. All in all it’s pure chaos but once we get into a new routine, things will settle down! #newbaby

Paul and I went all out for our 8 yr #anniversary Paul and I went all out for our 8 yr #anniversary ;) I’ve been wanting to try @em_birmingham in #birminghammi Anne loooved it. We ate guac, octopus, 4 diff salsas, lamb ribs, ceviche, a whole red snapper, drinks and coconut cake. #detroitfood
Update on baby Gemma! It’s been about six weeks Update on baby Gemma! It’s been about six weeks since Gemma was born and she is still in the #nicu. We have seen babies half her size leave faster. Last week Paul, Marge (Paul’s mom) and I took turns feeding baby Gemma all day and all night for four days and nights at the hospital in hope that we would reach the feeding requirements to bring her home. We almost did it but Gemma wasn’t gaining the weight she needed to go home so we put her feeding tube back in and are giving it more time. Rune told his teachers at school that Gemma couldn’t go home because she has too many nipples and that they have to remove them first. Ha! He must have heard us talking about “nippling” since that’s what the nurses call her feeding, and formed his own conclusions. He also told Paul that Gemma wouldn’t be able to ride a bike since she has “no legs” which was assumed since she is always in a swaddle😅 The good news is that Gemma is slowly being able to drink more, and so far additional testing hasn’t found any physical issues responsible for the developmental delay nor expect her to have other issues. 🌈

Rune is a curious boy. This week he has wanted to Rune is a curious boy. This week he has wanted to know how many octopuses exist in the world. Do trees grow all the time? How do you know if something is alive? How was I made? When does Lola turn into a boy? What food do ants eat? His brain is always working at full blast so he will either wear his teachers out or they will love him❤️ #precocious #boymom
